In the Indoor Championships Julie Byrne won the U18 doubles and was in the final of the U16 girls singles which is a really outstanding result – many congratulations to her

There are a large number of juniors competing for the club on the men’s and women’s Winter League teams and they are performing really well which is great to see

The days may be getting shorter but the tennis still goes on! Monkstown LTC juniors were very involved in a number of competitions in November & December

The highlight of October was the two Under 14 League teams getting to the final of their respective Class 2 competitions

After all the excitement of the summer, September was relatively calm. The U14 Leagues got under way and Monkstown has a boys’ and a girls’ team competing

The highlight was the Fitzwilliam Irish Junior Championship in which 26 Monkstown LTC juniors were competing – a fantastic representation for the Club

July is the busiest month of the year for the juniors with the Junior Handicaps and Championships on in the club as well as a large number of major Open Tournaments

Another very busy month for the juniors as the season gets into full swing. The U13 league teams did very well with both Class 1 and Class 2 teams getting to the finals
