What success our teams have had in the Winter League…there was a feast of super tennis here last weekend with 4 teams competing for a place in the Finals. Our Ladies 1st & Mens 1st Teams  reached the final of Class 2 –  & with that goes promotion to Class 1, a huge achievement for the teams & the club. The number of supporters who came down to watch was terrific & gave a special atmosphere.

The Finals take place in Templeogue Tennis Club on Sunday next the 13th. The Men play David Lloyd Riverview 1st @ of luck Scott – Mickymac – David – Stephen (c) – Alan – Johnny & Ciaran!  The Ladies play Templeogue 1st  @ 12 of luck Julie – Caroline – Helen – Kate – Geraldine (c) – Anna – Ruth & Rachel!  Try to pop out to Templeogue as supporters mean so much to the teams..should be some super tennis.

The popular Sunday Brunch commenced last Sunday & runs for 3 Sundays.

The Friday Friendly League starts this Friday (11th) with matches being played @ 7.30pm

Ladies Morning this week was pretty special with Aoife O’Shea showcasing her Stella & Dot collection of jewels & accessories…if you missed it she’ll be doing another one during the summer. The Charity League has a break over  Easter although there will be a match here next Tuesday 15th which had not been  listed on the court booking sheet.

The Easter Cup continues this Saturday with 3 courts booked from 11am – 12noon.

The Evergreen Tennis group, who use our courts once a year, will be here on Sat next 12th using 4 courts from 1pm – 3.30 pm.

Our Juniors continue to make waves on the tennis circuit..The Leinster Matchplays are on this w/end with 5 Monkstown Juniors competing.. U/12  Roy Keegan  –  U/14  Matthew Earle  – U/16  Conor Gannon  & Rachel Hartnett –  U/18  David Cullen..very best of luck to you all..

Congratulations to Pat Cowley who has been selected to play for Ireland in the Vets Quadrangular internationals to be held in Wales in April.
