News & Events 12th October 2017

We’re still going strong in the Senior League with six teams still standing, four Ladies and two Men’s Teams. This weekend its quarter-finals on Saturday and semi-finals on Sunday.
Should Monkstown win any of the following quarter-final fixtures they will play in the semi-finals (at home) on Sunday:-
• Ladies 3rd play Clane 1st at home @ 2pm.
• Ladies 4th play Shankhill away @ 2pm.
• Ladies 6th play Lansdowne 3rd away @10am.
Monkstown are playing in the following semi-finals on Sunday:-
• Ladies 1st playing Carrickmines 2nd away @ 2pm.
• Men’s O/35 playing Sutton 1st at home @ 11am.
• Men’s O/55 playing Templeogue 1st away @11am.
The very best of luck to all the teams and hopefully there will be a large Monkstown participation in the finals on Sunday 22nd October. Please do your very best to come out and support the teams.
Men’s Morning – No matches @ 9.30 am – just the one semi-final match @ 11am
CLUBNIGHT: Club night tonight will be hosted by the one and only Ray!!. looks like the weather will be pleasant so drop down for a bit of tennis & chat.
The Ladies Morning Charity league is progressing well with some very tight matches being fought! Well done Ladies – and also for the delicious goodies you have on display to be eaten afterwards. The Halloween Tournament – scheduled for Wed 25th – is filling up very well. Closing date for signup is Wednesday next the 18th.

JUNIORS: The Star & Stripes U/12 team won the Shield Final last Saturday! Congrats all
round. All team members are listed along with a lovely photo on the Notice board. Great to have another Trophy to display in the Trophy Cabinet! Thanks again to Roisin, Nikki, Claire & Anne.
The U/14 Stars & Stripes league starts this Saturday, signup sheet on the Notice Board. Any queries to Ruth Marchand or Mary Kenny.
The final matches in the DLTC U/18 Boys & U/14 Girls league are being played this Sunday, both teams had some really top-class games & held their own in the league. Good Luck this weekend guys & girls!
