News & Events 14th June 2019

The Summer league has concluded for the Ladies, with two teams qualifying for the Playoffs (the 4th and 8th teams). Both teams play their 1st round playoffs next Tuesday with the Fourths at home and eighth team away (venue to be decided). Great performance Ladies and very best of luck to both teams on Tuesday. Our other Ladies teams gave it their all throughout the campaign with some very tough opposition. The 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th teams ended their league on a high last night with all teams winning 5 – 0. The Men take to the courts today and tomorrow for their last matches.  Best of luck lads!  Monday night court bookings are back to normal, but this Tuesday and possibly Wednesday & Tuesday week, the 25th, are booked for playoffs.  Again thank you to those members who have missed out on their regular game.

The Ladies 5 Mile league play their last match this Sunday, they’re in the shake up so go for it Helen Lane & Deirdre Flood (c) – Siobhan Carney & Isabella Davison – Aoife Keogh O’Shea & Sara Mitchell!

Juniors: Group: Squad coaching finishes this week, still a few outstanding fees. The summer activities start next week with the first Camp.   Adrienne will start as Junior Day Manager on Monday week the 24th. A few guidelines of the hours for Juniors – Monday to Friday (10am – 1pm and 2.15pm – 5.30pm). Juniors must leave the premises between 1pm and 2.15pm unless they are attending a Camp.  The entry forms for both the Junior Handicap & Championship events will be on the Notice board from tomorrow, so make sure you take one and return them to Adrienne on time!   The Carrickmines Open starts today with a lot of our Juniors taking part. Very best of luck to you all, especially those of you who are playing in your first tournament

Judy is in the process of mailing all senior members with details of the upcoming Handicaps with entry forms. I hope our new members will take note and enter! Always a very popular tournament both socially and competitive wise!
