News & Events 26th April 2018

Those of you who were lucky enough to play in Captains’ Day last Saturday owe a big “Thank You” to Niall and Denise. The format was certainly novel, three players on each side of the net! – but it proved to be good fun with very little hanging around. As always Mary did a super job from the kitchen – she much appreciated all the gorgeous goodies that members brought to eat. Another winner on the day was of course the weather – what a balmy day we had. The 10.30 am start proved very popular, with the Champagne reception, Dinner, Prize giving and Dancing that evening. All in all a very successful day, worth all the hard work Niall and Denise!

Now to the Summer League, no rest for you guys. Denise and her Committee spent many a sleepless night figuring out the various teams – 90 names signed up for 49 places! Good luck to you Niall with your selections!

A reminder that Ladies League coaching with Stephen will be up and running again on Saturday next, Singles at 2pm and Doubles at 3pm

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Geoff Lovegrove’s wife, Mary (nee McGettrick). Mary was a popular member for many years and held the honour of being our first Lady Trustee. Our deepest sympathy to you Geoff on your huge loss.   May Mary rest in peace.
