Summer League update:    The Ladies have finished their league campaign with super results!  5 teams have reached the Playoff stages:

1st round playoff: Tues 14th Monkstown 2 v Brookfield 1 – in Brookfield @ 7.30pm

                          Tues 14th Monkstown 4 v Naas 6 – in  Naas @ 7.30pm

                Very best of luck Ladies.         Supporters welcome to both venues!

                            Winners play 1/4 finals on Sat 18th June.

1/4 Finals:  Sat 18th June Monkstown 1 v Malahide 2 – in Malahide. Time TBC.

                 Sat 18th June Monkstown 6th & 7th Teams due to play – OpositionTBC.

Well done to our Lady Capt Breege for her enthusiam & support for all the teams – also to Stephen who has been coaching the teams.

With the Ladies at the playoff stages all courts are back to their former bookings on Mon / Tues  & Wed  from 7 – 9pm…again thank you for your understanding.

The Men finish their campaign this w/end….you’ve a lot to live up to guys!!

Both the 5 Mile league teams play their last match this Sunday – good results so far!

Monkstown will be hosting the Finals on Sun 3rd July.

The Parent & Child tournament, held on Bank holiday Monday, was a super day – despite all seasons in one on the day – thunder – lightening – lashing rain….. then warm sunshine!

80 Mums / Dads & kiddies took part – well done to Stephen & Adrienne for organising the tennis.  One of the highlights of the afternoon was the Ice Cream van with complimentary cones at the ready – good thinking Adrienne!

Thanks to all who brought a plate of goodies – the kitchen was well manned by Sarah  & her many helpers. A great fun day was had by all & it was great to see lots of new faces.

Club Night  tonight is hosted by Rob Mc Cullagh.

Juniors:    Group coaching is now over for this term…keep practising all the skills you’ve learned!

The 1st tennis / fun Camp is schedueled for next Monday 13th June…email me if you want your child registered.

Not much has been claimed from the Lost Property so please have a good look…some really nice pieces of clothing are for claiming.
