Let’s hope the weather lasts through the weekend to allow us all to travel to Castleknock to watch our Men’s 2nd Team contest the Class 3 Winter League Final. They play Naas 2nd’s in Castleknock at 1pm. The team Panel is Harry Crossan, Jack Gannon, Robin Craig, Rob Kennedy, Denis Feighery (Captain), Ciaran Dolan and Gary Galvin. Very best of luck guys, you had a superb win in the Semis last week.
The Easter Cup team is going along very nicely as is the Blue & Gold Mixed Friday League. With 2 matches to go it’s all to play for.
There are NO Home matches this Saturday or Sunday morning, so you have the club to yourselves lads on Sunday morning!
NB: Captains’ Day is fast approaching, it’s on Saturday 13th April. So, show Carmel and Johnny your support and sign up on the Notice Board.
Ladies Morning Charity league is progressing well, with only two matches to go it’s all to play for Ladies! Again, volunteers are required to host Ladies Morning.

Juniors: Still busy on the Junior front, the U/14 Stars & Stripes have a match this Saturday at 5pm in the Club and on Sunday next the U/12 and U/18 Leinster league teams have a match at 4pm and 5.30 pm There’s a big upcoming Open event that Monkstown have been chosen to host, it’s the 10’s U/9 Leinster Open tournament. It will be played on Sunday 7th April, so all courts will be required from 12 noon to 5pm. It promises to be a great day with a lot of young talent on view. Further details next week.
The Tennis 4 Cancer Junior tournament to be held on Saturday 6th April is filling up very well. Deadline for signup is Wednesday next 3rd April.
Stephen’s Easter Tennis Camp (Monday 15th – Friday 19th April) is almost fully booked.

A “Green” Committee has been formed with Carmel McAllister, Barbara Liston and Angela Corkery making up the Senior side and Clara Mc Gannon and Amelia Kelly the Junior representatives. Further details to follow.
