Snippets of 4 July

Huge Congratulations Conor Gannon who won his 2nd ITF title in Belfast. And there’s another great week on the ITF tour this week - as I write he's reached the semi final of the ITF event being played in Cork...very best of luck Conor! He has also qualified for the European Championship to be played in Klosters, Switzerland at the end of July...what a summer you're having!

Great news on our website front....Web designer Lucy O'Reilly along with our IT sub committee of Geraldine - Susie - Carmel - Lar & Richard...spearheaded by the expertise of Helen Lane, have revamped the site...it looks fantastic! A big thank you from the membership for your time and commitment over the last couple of weeks..and more!

The Ladies had a wonderful day on the 30th of June when we played in a special tournament to remember our dear friend Louise Gunning. There was a wonderful atmosphere of warmth & colour..helped in no small way by the beautiful sunshine. Brian said a very moving few words that left us a little choked up. Very well done to Catherine - Anne T - Carol and Anne B for organising it so well and to all who brought such tasty food. We all miss you, Louise.

I've been asked to mention that it has been brought to the attention of the Executive Committee that members are bringing their dogs into the club on a regular basis and for safety & hygiene purposes we would ask you to desist from bringing them onto the club premises. Thanks.
