UPDATE  FROM  STEPHEN

Very encouraging to see a number of our Juniors competing in the National Junior Open Tour 1000 event being played in Templeogue this week.

It's a big step up to play in an Open tournament and all you Juniors should aim to play in a couple of these events  in the summer.

Well done to those who played - and some still are - this week....

U/10  Singles    Michael Carney  -   Daniel Carney

U/12  Doubles   Richie Kennedy & Charlie Carney

U/14  Singles    Rosie  Kennedy  -  Robyn Kennedy

U/14  Doubles   Rosie & Robyn

U/16  Singles    Mary O'Callaghan

U/16  Doubles   Mary   -  Lydia O'Connor

Rosie, seeded No 3 - has reached the Semis of the U/14 singles - as has Robyn, who had a great win over the No 2 seed in the quarters.

Both Semis to be played tomorrow -  for a Kennedy v Kennedy Final!

Mary was so close to reaching the 1/4 Final of the U/16 singles where she was beaten 10/6 in the final set tiebreak by the no 2 seed.  She plays in the 1/4 final of the doubles later today.

Very best of luck to all in your upcoming matches!

Hope lots of you - both Senior & Junior - have signed up for the final term of coaching.

Cheers       Stephen
