Hi Folks!

Hard to believe this is your last Snippets of 2020! Despite the extraordinary times we're living in, the year seems to have flown by. With the shortest day (yesterday) behind us let's look forward to brighter days in every way for 2021. We've been very fortunate to have the tennis for both Adults & Juniors....it certainly has helped lift our spirits.

You'll have received an email from Anne Crossan re the introduction of Easy Payments Plus. This method of payment should make it easier for Subs payment - Booking /Paying for coaching etc. We would encourage you to register your details and create your account - should you not already have one. You will get an email on the 4th January detailing Booking / Payment for coaching re Term 2.

Ladies Morning Committee 2021....Colette Langan and Isabella Davison are staying on for another year and will be joined by Katie Legge - Sinead Egan - Yvonne Sutton - Genevieve Conway and Aoife Fay. Thank you to all of you for volunteering for what is a very important section of the club.

A big "Thank You" to our outgoing Committee (2019 / 2020) of Noreen Cleary - Anthea Lydon - Linda Blake - Fiona O'Sullivan - Niamh Smythe who have done trojan work over the last two years on behalf of the Ladies of MLTC...

Your contribution to the St Vincent de Paul appeal raised a very healthy €405.00 which will be distributed in the Monkstown area.. Many thanks to all who donated.

Juniors: Stephen is organising a Christmas Camp on Tues / Wed / Thurs 29th / 30th / 31st Dec. Following the Guidelines and court availability the Maximum in any group is 12. So it'll be first come - first served. He will try and facilitate the time you request but everything is open to adjustment.

The following are the Age group / Time details:

AGE GROUP:

5 years 10 - 11am

6 - 9 years 11 - 12 noon

6 - 9 years 12 - 1pm

10 - 12 years 2 - 3pm

10 - 12 years 3 - 4 pm

TEENS 4 - 5 pm

COST: €30.00

You may book by emailing the office - but PLEASE be clear on the Age group / Time you'd like and if a family member please use the family name! DEADLINE for booking: Sunday 20th @ 6pm

Finally a reminder of the Club Open / Close times for Christmas:

CLOSED: CHRISTMAS EVE and CHRISTMAS DAY

Reopens: St. Stephen's Day @ 10 am till 7pm.

Sunday 27th: 10am - 7pm

It's just left for me to wish each and every one of you a Peaceful Christmas full of love and happiness and remembering particularly those members who are suffering ill health at the moment that 2021 will see them back to full health.

Take care of each other and do make that extra call to someone you feel might be that little bit isolated.
