Hi Folks!

Well here I am again!  The weeks seem to be slipping by - however difficult life is.

Imagine, those of you who play Winter League should be heading off next Sunday for your 2nd match of the campaign....think of the Men's 1st team who are still waiting to play their Final from last year's Winter League!

The Ladies morning should be preparing for their Spring Charity League...with the gorgeous home baking that I used to enjoy every Tuesday & Wednesday mornings...I haven't forgotten!!

Mens Morning  -  Ladies Morning  -  Club Night...all dearly missed.

Anyway it just adds to the excitement of what's ahead of us when we do open.

To keep you linked in to tennis topics -  Starting on Monday next, the coaching team, led by Stephen, will upload some instructional videos for members to view on the MLTC website and on the MLTC Instagram page.  The schedule (and associated themes) for the videos will be as follows:

Mondays     -    Technique

Wednesdays -  Tactics

Fridays        -    Physical

Saturdays    -   Psychological

More information will be posted on the website in the coming days.  We hope you enjoy the videos and that they help in keeping your game fresh during the weeks ahead, as we wait to return to our beautiful courts.

Our Juniors should also keep a keen eye on the videos for some great tips.

Well we have a new "Covid" Granny in the club!!  Karen (Mac Kenna) has become a Granny for the first time with the arrival of baby Jake - born to her daughter Nicky and Dave. Huge congrats to you and Seamie....happy days ahead!

I've waited a long time to end with news of Garry!!  Back after a double whammy with one broken jaw followed by another.  Last week he was awarded the Rugby Writers of Ireland Men's Player of The Year in recognition of excellent form throughout the 2019 - 20 season, thus completing a clean sweep after winning both the Irish and Leinster Players' Player of the Year awards...huge congrats Garry...and it all started in Monkstown LTC!!  Wishing you the very best for the upcoming 5 Nations....and an injury free campaign.

That's it folks...keep the chin up and mind yourselves and each other.

 Warm regards

 Judy
