OFFICE HOURS
Due to annual leave for the next two weeks (25th April – 8th May) the office will only be open on Wednesday 30th April and 7th May from 9am - 2pm.

CAPTAINS DAY – May 11th “ITALIA 25”
Captains Dermot and Colette, along with our fantastic events team would like to invite you to the
Annual Captains “ITALIA 25” day on May 11th. The theme for this year is all Italian so we only need pasta, limoncello, the sun to shine and of course great tennis to make it a success.
The day will begin at 2.30pm with tennis and dinner at 5.30pm followed by live music and dancing.
Costs: €48 for tennis, drinks reception, dinner and entertainment and €38 if you’re not playing
tennis. Registration is via easy payments and is now open.
SUMMER LEAGUE – Ladies
Summer league teams are now up on the board, the selection team are apologising in advance as
unfortunately we were not able to facilitate everyone. The full summer league’s schedule is up on
the DLTC website. Team captains will be in touch with you shortly, and based on demand we aim to organise coaching starting late next week.
SPRING BOX CHALLENGES – Ladies
Only one remaining week to play your box challenge games and to be in for a chance to win. I do
hope you get a chance to complete them – best of luck!!
SUMMER LEAGUE – Men
DLTC men’s summer league commences on the weekend of 9th May.
MLTC has four men’s teams entered with matches typically held on a Friday evening or Saturday afternoon. Group stages will run through to early June, followed by play-offs and finals on 22nd June.
For those who haven’t signed up yet and are interested in playing, please sign-up on the notice board, men’s league WhatsApp group or contact Dermot Hayes
LADIES MORNING
Our next Ladies Morning will take place next Wednesday April 30th, and will be hosted by Breege Clancy.
Sign up sheet for the 5 Mile League tournament which begins on Sunday May 11th (Level 7 & below) are on the notice board.
MEN’S MORNING – Sunday Mornings
Mens morning will be back to the usual time of 10am - 12 so do come along for a hit!
CLUB NIGHT – Thursday Evenings
Club night will be on tonight! Pop down any time between 8pm and 10pm for a social game and Stephen will give some coaching support at the beginning of the evening. This is an opportunity to meet and play with members of varying standards and is a relaxed evening of tennis.
UPDATE FROM STEPHEN
We sure were well represented by many of our Juniors at the various tournaments over the Easter break - with some events still in progress.
Congrats to Mary O'Callaghan who won the U/18 event at the Templeogue open 200 Tour event last weekend.
The travelling Carney family plus Richie Kennedy had a very successful few days in Lisburn - with Michael & Richie reaching the U/12 semis.
Darragh, Harry & Daniel finished as the top 3 players in the Leinster T200 April U/12 event in Beckett Park with Grace & Sarah performing very well in the U/14's.
The Forvis Mazars Templeogue Junior Tour 1250 is well underway this week with Rosie playing her 1/4 final this morning after a super win over the no1 seed yesterday!....Robyn (seeded 1) is in the 1/4 of the U/14..best of luck to you both.
Having done so well in Lisburn the Carney mobile headed straight for the Kilkenny Easter tour 200 event where Charlie & Michael came away unbeaten & Sam lost just 1 match...well done guys!
Castleknock is the venue this weekend for the Junior Tour 1000 With Robyn - Rosie - Michael - Harry - Mia & Isabella entered...best of luck. Also playing in Castleknock this weekend in the Tour 200 Junior open are Lauren - Annellie - Grace (Moroney) - Grace (O'Callaghan) - Sarah - Mary - Luke - and Isabella.
Tom - Emma and Elodie are playing in the Red / Orange / Green ball Training day 2025 this weekend as well....enjoy.
Congrats to one and all - we're all very proud of you & again thanks to the mums & dads for their enthusiasm.
